AS-410M Auto Slide Preparation System
4-10 Shutdown procedure
The flowchart below shows the outline of the slide preparation shutdown procedure. First, save slide
preparation data (the angle data is available when sample angle auto adjustment is enabled) to the
System memory and then operation log data to a USB memory device. Then, turn OFF the power.
Collect section slides from the slide collection box. Then, check their finished quality (dryness,
shape integrity, etc.). If there are no issues, collect sample blocks from the System.

Collect section slides and

Redo slide
preparation
Set the collection box back to the shelf
Insufficient drying,
Redo section slide
preparation.
Complete preparation
View storage log on

Continue drying
Save storage log.
