3-12 Setting the carrier tape roll replacement in place
Open the left and right doors (L and R) of the Main Unit. There is a carrier tape feeder on the left side
as viewed from the front side, while there is a carrier tape take-up reel (re-winder) on the right side. The
carrier tape is retained by disks and clamp levers.
3-12-1 Carrier tape replacement procedure
Follow the steps below to replace the carrier tape:
Left door
(L)
Right door (R)
Carrier tape feeder
Carrier tape take-up reel
Fixing knob
Guide disk
Before replacing the carrier tape roll, remove the used blade and put it into the
used-blade collection box. Use great care to avoid cuts on the hands or
fingers with the slicing blade.
！ Warning
① Select Slide Preparation from the
main menu and choose the tape
CHANGE button.
② Touch UNLOCK DOORS button.
