4-12-4 Roughing condition settings
Touch MAINTENANCE on the “MAIN” screen and then touch ROUGHING to specify the
conditions for roughing operation.
① Select the Roughing mode
② Specify the sample positions
Touch ROUGHING on the “MAIN” screen to open the “Roughing settings” screen. The
“Roughing settings” screen differs according to the optional components used with the Main Unit.
Select the numbered buttons for the sample to be rough-cut (sample Nos. and sample tray Nos.)
(System with BS-96 allows tray-by-tray selection.)
Touch an appropriate numbered button or buttons to specify the position(s) of the sample(s) to
be rough-cut. The selected buttons will turn bright.
