5-2-2-1 Error memos
The information displayed in Error Screens-1 and -2, such as error codes, error messages, and error
occurrence date and time, is necessary for troubleshooting. Be sure to provide us with such information
when contacting us for troubleshooting assistance.
Error response
①Record the error code, error message, and date that the error occurred.
②When conducting operation after selecting NO (already registered) from the sample surface angle
selection screen, the error information will be deleted if the delete button is pressed from the error
screen-1. Go back to the main menu screen by pressing the menu button on the upper right side of the
screen.

Please contact us if any problem persists even after trying the suggested solution(s).
5-3-1 System errors and Sample Feeding Unit errors

Symptom: Abnormal
Compressed Air Pressure
The compressed air pressure
detection sensor detected a
pressure lower than 0.35 MPa
or higher than 0.60 MPa.
Turn the compressor power ON (I) to supply
0.7MPa of air.
Close the service valve (drain cock) and
open (turn to ON) the air supply valve.
If air is leaking from the tube, bleed the air
once, and insert it back to the farthest it
goes.
Confirm that the pressure gauge (at the
back of the Main Unit) indicates 0.5MPa ±
0.5.

Unit: Doors
Part: Doors
Symptom: Door OPEN
One of the doors opened when
it needs to be locked.
Close the front doors of the Main Unit and
the one for Dry Chamber.
If with the BS-96, push the Sample Feeder /
Sample Tray Set Unit firmly to the furthest
back and close the door.
The system memory can only store up to 10 errors. Be sure to keep a paper log of all
error codes, error messages, and error dates and times displayed on Error Screens-1
and -2 to ensure full traceability of errors. Such data is necessary for
troubleshooting.
