A sample block can be sliced until it is approx. 2 mm thick.
Process may stop prematurely (before reaching to the 2 mm thick)
depending on the tilt angle of the sample (*).
*This System includes a mechanism that tilts each sample (in 2 directions) to keep the
microtome blade parallel with the sample surface during sectioning. This mechanism
is called “tilting mechanism” while the angle to which the sample is tilted called “tilt
angle”.

40 × 28 × 6 (mm) and 40 × 28 × 12 (mm)
* Some cassettes of the above sizes may be unusable if they contain
protrusions, etc. For the use of cassettes other than those recommended
below, contact us for consultation.
