4-8 Emergency stop
When it is necessary to shut down the AS-410M immediately, turn OFF the System power.
4-9 Error-triggered shutdown
If a mechanical error occurs during operation, a screen (“Error” screen) will appear with the error
occurrence date and time and the error code, stopping operation. Then, touch an error line on the
“Error” screen to view and check the details of the error (error message).
Refer to Chapter 5 “Errors and Troubleshooting” for the details of the troubleshooting methods and
the method for resuming operation after troubleshooting.
CLEAR
Clears error indications.
Stops the error alarm.

Do not turn OFF the system power during operation except for cases of
emergency. An emergency stop may cause the System to stop at an
inconvenient point, resulting in sample loss or system breakdown.
● In case the System is on fire or emitting abnormal odor, remove the power
cords immediately.

When it is necessary to collect samples and tissue sections (on slides) from the
System due to a system error, be sure to turn OFF the system power and remove
the power cords from the outlets. Collect samples and tissue sections (on
slides) carefully to avoid cuts on the hands or fingers with the slicing blade.
