5-2 Troubleshooting during automatic operation
5-2-1 Flow chart
When a system error occurs due to whatever cause during automatic operation, an error code appears
on the operation screen. Follow the steps below to troubleshoot such an error and resume the operation.
① Take a note of the error code, the error message, and the occurrence date and time displayed on
the operation screen.
② If the error is NOT related to the slide collection box (any of Errors 1000 to 4022 except Error 4011),
keep the screen open, remove finished section slides from the System, and save the operation log.
③ If the error is a slide collection box-related one (any of Errors 5000 range and Error 4011), turn the
power OFF and ON again and manually remove the slide collection box from the slide collection
box transfer robot to remove finished section slides.
④ Before troubleshooting the error, turn OFF the System power to release pressure in the air tube.
⑤ Fix the malfunctioning part and eliminate the cause.
⑥ When the problem is solved, resume operation for the remaining samples. If the problem persists,
contact us for advice.
Errors may recur. Before the slide preparation operation, we recommend using unimportant samples,
such as non-tissue-containing sample blocks for test use.
Collect samples and tissue sections (slides) carefully to avoid cuts on the
hands or fingers with the slicing blade.
