③Turn each fixing knob on the carrier tape feeder and the take-up reel (rewinder) to
counterclockwise, then take each guide disk out.
④ Cut the carrier tape with scissors and remove the used portion of carrier tape.
⑤Set a new roll of carrier tape on the carrier tape feeder and the new carrier tape core on the
carrier tape take-up reel. Use cellophane tape for their fixation.

Fix with cellophane tape
When connecting carrier tape, apply cellophane tape across the full
width of the carrier tape. In the case of cellophane tape hanging over or
not reaching the edges of the carrier tape, the carrier tape may fail to be
fed normally, leading to such a trouble as failure of sliced sections to
adhere properly to the carrier tape.
