Recorder
To get a print-out of your patient’s vital signs, including trend and alarm information,
connect a Dräger R50 Series strip-chart recorder to connector X7 on the monitor’s
back panel. For information about recordings, see the chapter Recordings.
Remote Displays
To obtain an enlarged view of the monitoring data, connect a VGA display to
connector X5 on the monitor’s back panel. Use of a Dräger-approved display is
recommended. For ordering information, see the Accessories appendix.

NOTE: If you use a video monitor other than the one approved by Dräger, it must
comply with IEC 60601-1. Upon installation, the installer must ensure that in normal
and single fault conditions, the entire system meets the requirements of IEC 60601-1 and
IEC 60601-1-1 (Medical Electrical Systems Standards). Refer to the video monitor’s
operating instructions to ensure that the interconnection is within its intended use as
specified by the manufacturer. Additionally, radiated and conducted emissions
classification, suitability for flammable locations and water ingress protection must be
considered based on the intended use of the system.
