The access mode shown in the following tables is indicated by these abbreviations:
ACL (Access Control List Configuration) LC (Line Configuration)
CM (Class Map Configuration) MST (Multiple Spanning Tree)
NE (Normal Exec) PE (Privileged Exec)
GC (Global Configuration) PM (Policy Map Configuration)
IC (Interface Configuration) VC (VLAN Database Configuration)
General Commands
These commands are used to control the command access mode, configuration
mode, and other basic functions.
enable
This command activates Privileged Exec mode. In privileged mode, additional
commands are available, and certain commands display additional information.
(See “Understanding Command Modes” on page 4-6.)
Syntax
enable [level]
level - Privilege level to log into the device.
The device has two predefined privilege levels: 0: Normal Exec,
15: Privileged Exec. Enter level 15 to access Privileged Exec mode.
