AWARNING!
1. Do not operate the machine while the
guards or covers are open.
2. Follow your company’s Lockout/Tagout
procedures when performing any
maintenance on your Formax machine.
3. While lubrication is being performed, all
other personnel must keep clear of the
machine.
4. Make sure that all guards and covers are
in place before returning the machine to
production.
PROCEDURES
Check the illustrations when lubricating the machine.
You may be able to combine weekly and monthly
lubrication with the daily applications.
Lubrication intervals specified in this section are for
single shift (8 hours daily) operating periods. If the
machine is operated for longer daily periods, such as a
double shift (16 hours daily) basis, lubrication intervals
will have to be adjusted accordingly (ex.: on a double
shift, monthly applications become 2 weeks). The
exception to this is the daily application of mineral oil
which must be done once a day only.
