DYNAMIC SCALE CONVEYORS: Depending on the
machine options, there can be up to 3 Dynamic Scale
Conveyors. (Illustration 29) Each Dynamic Scale
Conveyor weighs the stack or draft from 1 loaf of product.
The Dynamic Scale takes multiple weight samplings of
the product as it transfers over the conveyor. This
information is reported to the Computer for use in
correcting the weight of the next stacks or drafts to be
sliced. The weight of the product is controlled by
increasing or decreasing the speed of the Infeed
Conveyors to increase or decrease the thickness of each
slice of product. The Dynamic Scale Conveyors are driven
by Stepper Motors.
DYNAMIC SCALE CONVEYOR #1: The M18 Stepper
Motor drives the #1 Dynamic Scale. (Illustration 31) The
