MAINTENANCE AND LUBRICATION

Knife Honing system
requires very little maintenance.
THINGS TO CHECK:
1. Check the condition of the hone stones
every time you hone a Knife and perform
lubrication.
2. Periodically check that the honing
mechanism is tight and the slide bushjngs
on the carriage have minimum free play.

3. Check the two cam followers for smooth
operation and minimum free play.
4. Check the deburr stone bearings for smooth
operation and minimum end play.
5. Check the bearings on the hone stone for
smooth operation and minimum end play.
