LUBRICATION — MONTHLY
1. Grease the three grease fittings on the
honing mechanism. Use Formax grease part
number 702946. (Illustration 24)
2. Check the oil level in the speed reducer.
Remove the level plug to check and fill with
Formax H1 Gear Oil part number 702293 if
the oil level is low. (Illustration 25)
3. Check the oil level in the gear reducer. You
will have to remove the elbow and breather
assembly to check. Fill with Formax H1
Gear Oil part number 702293 if the level is
low. (Illustration 25)
LUBRICATION — YEARLY
Drain the gear oil from the speed and gear reducers
and refill with the Formax H1 Gear Oil (# 702293).
