24 VDC STEPPER MOTORS: There are
24 VDC Stepper Motors used to drive
the Dynamic Scale Conveyor Belts.
(Illustration 16) Depending on the
machine options, there can be up to 3
Dynamic Scale Motors. Each motor is
controlled by a separate Stepper Drive
Module. The Drive Modules receive
“speed command” signals from
Computer. These signals are sent over
the Profibus through the AR15 Driver
Control Node to the Stepper Modules.
The AR15 Driver Control Node is located
in the Scale Cabinet. The Stepper
Modules create and send the power
voltage and frequency to run the 24 VDC
Servo Motors.
