STEP 3 INSTALLATION OF THE MOTION
CONTROLLER (U1) (Illustration 4)
1. Install the Motion Controller. (straight in, down)
2. Tighten the top and bottom retaining screws.
3. Install the fan. (push in tab and push up)

4. Push in the cables on top of the module. (X100 and
X101). (Illustration 5)
5. Push in the terminal plugs. (X122 and X132)
6. Push in the power terminal plug. (X124)
7. Push in the Ethernet cable. (120 or X130)
8. Push in the Profibus terminal plug. (X136)
9. Tighten the Profibus terminal plug retaining screws.
10. Push in the software chip.
Reference the schematics - Profibus routing and
address information.
11. Set the addresses for the module. (Illustration 6)
