Apply a small point-shaped amount of thermal paste (1.0 gram, see
description above) to the center of the CPU surface as shown.
CAUTION
▶
Do not mix different types of thermal paste.
Installing the CPU and heat sink
▶
Confirm that the CPU model number printed on the top of the CPU fits with
the requirements.
▶
If applicable, remove the protective cap from the bottom side of the new
CPU.
▶
Install the CPU, see "Installing the CPU and heat sink" on page
287.

Install the heat sink, see "Installing the heat sink" on page 275.
