Figure 4.13 Arrhythmia Event List Screen
4.5.1 Operaon Instrucons
The structure is similar to the recall screen. We will cover each funcon key below.
Start: This buon is used to start and end the system Arrhythmia detecon. The default is OFF. When the Arrhythmia is
not ON, the “Learn” key is disabled. Press this key and the monitor enters learning stage before detecng arrhythmia.
The “Startchanges to “End”. Press it again to end the learning. When “Learn” key change to yellow from gray, it indicates
the learning has nished. When the ARR detecon begins aer learning, the monitor will automacally detect the ARR
event. If an ARR event is detected, the ECG waveform with corresponding ARR event will be displayed in the 3
rd
trace of
waveform, shown in Figure 4.13.
When the monitor get Reset or the paent ID has been changed, the ARR detecon needs to be re-learned.
Learn: Because the Arrhythmia detecon is based on the paern of normal ECG waveform, which is built up during
learning stage. When the paent changes, the ARR detecon could be incorrect, so re-learning is needed. To get beer
result of the learning funcon, it is recommended to start learning while a segment of good quality ECG waveform
appears during the ECG monitoring.
View: Press this key, and the selected record in the Arrhythmia event list, which is to be reviewed, becomes the green.
Rotate the “Navigaon Knob” to choose the record and display the corresponding waveform in the 3
