ENGLISH
 Prior to use of the cu, empty the cu unl there is no residual air inside it to ensure accurate measurement.
 Do NOT twist the air tube or put heavy things on it.
 When unplugging the air tube, hold the head of the connector and pull it out.
 The NIBP measurement will not be aected when the monitor is connected to the paent on whom the electro-
surgical unit and debrillator is being used.
 The appearance of arrhythmia results in irregular heart beat which may aect the accuracy of NIBP measurement.
It is recommended to take the measurement again at this situaon.
 The blood pressure measurements determined with this device are equivalent to those obtained by a trained
observer using the cu/stethoscope auscultatory method, within the limits prescribed by the American Naonal
Standard, manual, electronic, or automated sphygmomanometers.
 The monitor can be used on the paent who are pregnant or pre-eclampc, but close aenon should be paid to
such paents.
 The performance of NIBP funcon can be aected by the extremes of temperature, humidity and altude, please
use it within the appropriate working environment.
9.3 Measurement Limitaons
1. Serious angiospasm, vasoconstricon, or too weak pulse.
2. When extremely low or high heart rate or serious arrhythmia of the paent occurs. Especially auricular brillaon
will lead to unreliable or impossible measurement.
3. Do not take the measurement when the paent is connected with an arcial heart-lung machine.
4. Do not take the measurement when the paent uses diuresis or vasodilator.
5. When the paent is suering from major hemorrhage, hypovolemic shock and other condions with rapid blood
pressure change or when the paent has too low body temperature, the reading will not be reliable, for reduced
peripheral blood ow will lead to reduced arterial pulsaon.
6. Paent with hyperadiposis;
9.4 Measurement Mode
There are three measuring mode for NIBP measurement:
 Manual: measurement on demand.
 Auto: connually repeated measurements at set intervals.
 STAT: connually rapid series of measurements over a ve minute period, then return to the previous mode.
9.5 Seng Up the NIBP Measurement
9.5.1 Preparing to Measure NIBP
