b. Measure the piston pin bore inside diameter.

c. Calculate the piston pin-to-piston clearance
with the following formula.
Piston pin-to-piston clearance = Piston pin
bore inside diameter – Piston pin outside
diameter
d. If out of specification, replace the piston.
