Power is supplied to the cutting system.
Cutting system operation STARTS.
Make sure that signals are OFF for these components:
· Main contactor
· Coolant pump
· Cooling fans
Make sure that there is CAN communication.
Wait for RS-422 serial, EtherCAT, or wireless
communication between the plasma power
supply and the CNC or wireless device.
Find the system configuration – the number of choppers,
the number and type of consoles, and if there is a cooler.
Did the Power-up state (1)
complete correctly?
Continue troubleshooting steps to identify the
problem. Start the Power-up state (1) again.
Continue to Initial Checks state (2).
Yes
No
If the Power-up state (1) completes correctly, the process continues with Initial Checks state (2) on page
218.
Refer to Initial inspection steps on page 273 for troubleshooting procedures.
Initial Checks state (2)
During the Initial Checks state (2), the system looks for diagnostic codes and gets temperature and inlet
pressure measurements.
