Start the coolant pump, and let the coolant
solenoid start the flow of coolant.
Stage 2: Operate cutflow gasses.**
Measure the coolant flow rate.
* A specialty purge (with N
2
or air) occurs automatically if the process changes from a non-mixed-fuel gas
to a mixed-fuel gas or F5 process (or the opposite).
If the process that was sent before was a water (H
2
O) process, a water purge is added to the gas
purge. Refer to Automatic purges on page 229.
If the process that was sent before was not an H
2
O, mixed-fuel gas, or F5 process, do the usual two-
step gas purge.
** These conditions have an effect on the time that is necessary to complete a purge:
The type of operator-selected process that the CNC or wireless device sends to the cutting system
If this is the first process sent after the Power-up state (1) starts
The type of operator-selected process that was sent before
