5.2 Timer 2
Timer 2 is a 16-bitTimer/Counter which can operate
eitheras a timer or as an event counter.This is selected
by bit Cm in the Speoial Function Register T2CON
cable 8). It has three operatingmodes: capture, auto-
relosd (up or down counting), and b+mdrategenerator.
The modes are selected by bits in T2CON as shown in
Table 7.
