Installing the connecting cable
During the assembly, ensure that the motor with the shaft end for the connector is installed in the
motor brackets on the correct side.
NOTICE

4 During the assembly, ensure that the grease at the seals is not removed.
4 Protect the socket in the motor and the cable plug against contamination.

manual.
4 Before installing the connecting cable, carefully read and observe the information about
assembly and startup of the drum motor.

Risk of tripping due to unwound cable
Do not unwind the cable until you are at the installation site.
CAUTION
Rotating parts and inadvertent startup of the motor
Risk of crushing for fingers
4 Do not reach into areas between drum motor and conveyor belts or roller chains.
4 Install a protection device (such as a guard plate) to prevent fingers from getting trapped in
the chain belts or roller chains.
4 Install an appropriate warning on the conveyor.
