Inserting threaded cable connection for elbow connector
1 Assembly nipple 4 Locking screw
2 Assembly sleeve 5 Shell nipple
3 Intermediate socket 6 Thrust screw
4 Screw the assembly nipple (1) into the shaft end and tighten it with a 14-mm open-end
wrench. Ensure that the assembly sleeve (2) and the cable do not turn in the process.
4 Push the assembly sleeve (2) into the intermediate socket (3), align it and tighten it with the
locking screw (4).
4 Screw the shell nipple (5) of the screw connection into the intermediate socket and tighten it
with a 14-mm open-end wrench.
4 Screw the thrust screw (6) of the screw connection tightly onto the thread of the shell nipple
using a 20-mm open-end wrench.
4 Route the connecting cable properly and place it in the switch cabinet.
4 For the remaining installation of the drum motor, observe the notices in the Interroll drum
motor DM series operating manual.
