Preparing the assembly
The connecting cable is included with the drum motor. The complete screw connection and an
assembly tool are already attached to the connecting cable. Required tools:
• Open-end wrench, 14 mm WAF
• Open-end wrench, 20 mm WAF
4 Remove the dummy plug of the drum motor.
4 Open the packaging and unwind the connecting cable.

4 Attach the connector (1) to the guide lugs of the assembly tool (2).
4 Insert the plug with the assembly tool into the open shaft end.
4 Turn the assembly tool using slight pressure until the plug engages in its correct position.
ð The correct position of the plug is reached when the tool rests on the shaft end.
4 Pull off the assembly tool and guide it onto the connecting cable behind the screw
connections.
The assembly tool can remain on the connecting cable and not be lost.
