Mounting
The K-RX may be mounted indoors or outdoors. The back of the enclosure includes a drill template for
mounting to a single gang wall box. Also, the K-RX enclosure has 4 pre-drilled holes in the corners for flat
surface mounting to maintain weather-proof integrity.
RF Range Adjustment
The RF range of the K-RX receiver can be adjusted by turning the range dial on the circuit board. The RF
range is (-) 1 foot/0.3 meters to a maximum of (+) 150 feet/45.7 meters. As the RF range is increased, the
LED at D7 brightens. Environmental conditions may affect the RF range.

LED & Beeper Indicators
The following table reviews the LED and beeper operation. The LED is viewable from the front plate directly
below the Keyscan logo. The LED and beeper can be disabled by placing a jumper on J5—LED/Beeper Control.
