Station Swapping: When two FM stations are located closely, and the original
radio signal is interrupted by static or a dead-spot caused by to multipath effects,
sometimes the stronger second radio signal will be selected until the original one
returns.
This swapping can also occur as you drive away from the selected station and
approach another station of a stronger radio signal.

Disc Player
For high performance from your disc player and discs, observe the following
precautions:
• Music CDs, Video CDs and DVDs displaying these symbols
can be used. CD-R and CD-RW discs in the CD-DA format
and DVD-R/RW discs in the DVD-Video format can also be
played. See "About Disc" on page 11-9 for details about
recording data.
• CD-R/RW may not be able to playback due to the recording condition,
characteristics of the disc, damage, dirt or deterioration due to long exposure to the
environment inside the vehicle. CD-R/RW, which are not finalized or saved in the
UDF format cannot be played (excluding MP3/WMA/AAC).
• DVD-R/RW may not be able to playback due to the recording condition,
characteristics of the disc, damage, dirt or deterioration due to long exposure to the
environment of the vehicle compartment. Unfinalized DVD-R/RW cannot be played.
Disc recorded in the personal computer may also not be able to playback due to
application settings and environment. Discs whose contents were recorded in the
video recording (VR) mode and audio mode cannot be played.
• CD-TEXT function is only compatible with commercial CD compatible with
CD-TEXT. Characters may not display accurately in CD-R/RW.
• Do not use a CD and a See Through disc having a transparent or semi-transparent
recording area as they may fail to load or unload or play their contents.
• A Copy Control CD (CCCD) may not be played as it does not
meet the official CD Standard.
• CD-EXTRA discs are played as audio CDs. The system can play mixed-mode CDs.
However, it cannot play mixed-mode CDs with DTS correctly.
