Preset Upstream Gas Volume
Tests are designed to measure upstream gas volume automatically. However, a user can define
upstream gas volume manually. In this case, no upstream gas sizing will occur. The instrument will use
the value that has been designated manually in the Preset upstream Gas Volume screen element to
perform its test calculations.
Upstream Side
The upstream side is the inlet, or non-sterile side of the filter containing the fluid before it has been
filtered.

Typical user-defined information could include a:
• Lot Number
• Other test-specific detail
