Data cannot be encrypted.
1. Make sure that encryption is enabled (for the Library and tape
medium).
Data cannot be decrypted.
1. Make sure that the correct encryption key is set.
The Remote Manager displays
“Normal” as the “Data Type” in
“Information” even if you
specify an encrypted tape.
1. Because “Data Type” is refreshed after you load tape media
into the drive, load the tape into the drive before checking the
value in the Remote Manager.
