Replace Media Exit Sensor
1. Remove Right-hand Operator Side Cover,
Non-Operator Side Cover and Exit Cover.
2. Open the Ink Tank Door.
3. Disconnect the Media Exit Sensor at the wire
harness connector [A]. Remove the Exit
Conveyor Assembly.
4. Lift the Conveyor Assembly out of the Printer.
Disconnect the Transport Roller Belt.
5. Turn the Conveyor Assembly over.
Remove (2) screws [B] securing the Sensor
Assembly to the Conveyor. NOTE: DO NOT
remove the tape strip under the Sensor.
6. Install in reverse order. NOTE: Remember to
reattach the Transporter Roller Belt and
reconnect the Media Exit Sensor wire harness.
Replace Ink Door Switch
1. Open the Ink Tank Door.
2. Remove Right-hand
Operator Side Cover.
(4 screws).
3. Disconnect the Ink Door
Switch wire harness at the
SW connector [A].
4. Remove (1) screw [B]
securing the Switch to the
Printer Frame. Remove Ink
Door Switch Assembly.
5. Reassemble in reverse
order.
