15.2. Connection of concentrates
CAUTION
z Connect each concentrate connector and rinse port securely to prevent troubles such as
water leak and air aspiration.
z Use A and B concentrates for preparing bicarbonate dialysate and acetic acid
concentrate for preparring acetate dialysate of specified concentrations.
15.2.1. Connection of concentrates to prepare bicarbonate dialysate
(1) A concentrate line connector is connected to rinse port. Disconnect the line connector
from the port by pulling the line connector under moving ring of the port to this side.
(2) Full push the disconnected connector against A concentrate container connector until
click is heard.
(3) concentrate line connector is connected to rinse port. Disconnect the line connector
from the port by pulling the line connector under moving ring of the port to this side.
(4) Full push the disconnected connector against B concentrate container connector until
click is heard.
(5) Connect other concentrate line connectors to respective rinse ports or engage them
with respective connector receivers.
(6) Check correct connector connection.
15.2.2. Connection of concentrate to prepare acetate dialysate
(1) A concentrate line connector is connected to rinse port. Disconnect the connector from
the port by pulling the connector under moving ring of the port to this side.
(2) Full push the disconnected connector against A concentrate container connector until
click is heard.
(3) Connect other concentrate line connectors to respective rinse ports or engage them
with respective connector receivers.
(4) Check correct connector connection.
