16.11. Start of dialysis (dialysis process)
1. Start dialysis.
2. Set upper and lower arterial pressure alarm limits (option).
3. Set upper and lower dialysate pressure alarm limits.
16.11.1. Start of dialysis
(1) Check that [PREP.] SW lamp is ON.
(2) Check that [BYPASS] SW lamp is OFF.
(3) Check that the machine is operated normally.
(4) Press [UF DIALYSE] SW once.
z[UF DIALYSE] SW lamp is ON.
z[PREP.] SW lamp is OFF.
(5) Single needle dialysis is started.
16.11.2. Setting of upper and lower arterial pressure alarm limits
The setting is enabled only when required option is used. The limits are set automatically
sometime after pressing [UF DIALYZE] SW. When the limits are set manually, follow the below
procedures:
(1) Press [F5] SW to display settingscreen.
(2) Press [F3] or [F4] SW to blink "2.BAR GRAPH".
(3) Press [F1] or [F2] SW to set "AP".
(4) Check correct setting.

zDP Dialysate pressure indication in DP/AP indicator with DP indicating lamp ON
zAP Arterial pressure indication in DP/AP indicator with AP indicating lamp ON
(5) Check that AP indicating lamp is ON.
(6) Set the upper limit by operating [] or [] SW for the upper DP/AP limit setting.
(7) Set the lower limit by operating [] or [] SW for the lower DP/AP limit setting.
(8) Check correct setting.
