18.2.5. Check of accuracy of UF
(1) Required devices
Electronic balance (min calibration:≦0.5 g), container (about 3L), water, tube with
female lure
lock connector and syringe
(2) Dip coupler lines in water received in container as shown in Fig. 18-7.
(3) Advance plunger of syringe connected to venous pressure inlet port through tube to
pressurize to about +50mmHg and keep the pressure.
(4) Operate the machine under dialysis mode at UF RATE=1.00L/h，UF GOAL=1.00L/h.
(5) After UF completion, check that difference of actual UF weight measured by the balance
from
the set UF GOAL volume is within ±30g.
