18.2.3. Check of accuracy of pressure sensor
(1) Required devices
Calibrated manometer, syringe used to pressurize, three way stop cock and air tube
(2) Venous pressure sensor
Connect required devices as shown in Fig. 18-4. When pressures of 0mmHg and
+300mmHg are applied to manometer and the sensor by operating syringe, difference
of
displayed pressure from manometer reading should be within ± 2mmHg and ±
8mmHg
respectively.
(3) Arterial pressure sensor
Connect required devices as shown in Fig. 18-4. When pressures of 0mmHg and
+300mmHg are applied to manometer and the sensor by operating syringe, difference
of
displayed pressure from manometer reading should be within ± 2mmHg and ±
8mmHg
respectively.
(4) Dialysate pressure sensor
Connect required devices as shown in Fig. 18-5. When pressures of 0mmHg and
+300mmHg are applied to manometer and the sensor by operating syringe, difference
of
displayed pressure from manometer reading should be within ± 2mmHg and ±
8mmHg
respectively.
NOTE
z Pressure measured by each sensor appears in maintenance mode 1 screen. Offset value
set in maintenance mode 6 screen is added to the pressure. Subtract the offset value
from the sensor value to compare with the manometer value.
