8.2.2 Components of operation panel and their purposes and functions

1 [DIALYSIS] SW with lamp SW used to start dialysis
“During dialysis preparation” and “enabled dialysis
start” is indicated by lamp lighting.
2 [PREP.] SW with lamp SW used to prepare dialysate and to prepare to start air
purge
“Preparation end” or “during recovery” is indicated by
lamp lighting.
“During preparation” is indicated by lamp flashing.
3 [UF DIAL
SE] SW with
lamp
SW used to start UF
“During UF” is indicated by lamp lighting.
4 [BYPASS] SW with lamp SW used to bypass dialysate without passing through
dialyzer
“During manual bypassing” is indicated by lamp
lighting.
“During automatic bypassing” is indicated by lamp
flashing.
5 [DRAIN] SW
SW used to drain dialysate from dialyzer
6 [RINSE] SW with lamp SW used to start rinsing of fluid lines of the machine
“During rinsing” is indicated by lamp lighting.
7 CONDITION lamp Lamp used to indicate operating condition
“During UF” is indicated by green lighting and “during
alarm actuation” is indicated by red lighting.
8 [MUTE] SW with lamp “Alarm actuation” is indicated by lamp lighting. By
pressing SW, buzzing is muted and lamp is OFF.
9 [RESET] SW with lamp “Alarm actuation” is indicated by lamp lighting. By
pressing SW after muting buzzer, alarm is released and
lamp is OFF.
10 POWER lamp
“Power SW ON” is indicated by lamp lighting.
11 Display Display used to show dialysate temperature, VP, DP and
alerted condition, etc. for monitoring them.
12 Venous pressure indicator Indicator used to show VP by bar graph
Upper and lower limits of set VP range are also shown
by different colors.
13 Set upper VP limit
increasing SW
SW used to increase set upper VP limit within
acceptable range
14 Set upper VP limit
decreasing SW
SW used to decrease set upper VP limit within
acceptable range
