(11) Check no air in blood line.
(12) Close clamp of venous shunt joint line not to allow discharge of saline.
(13) Turnover dialyzer to direct arterial port (red) upward.
(14) Close rolling clamp of saline vial line and clamp of saline line attached to blood line.
(15) Press [F4] SW during priming screen is displayed to complete priming operation.
16.6.4.2. When priming function is not used
(1) Turn on [ON/OFF] SW of blood pump to operate it with flow rate indication.
(2) Set flow rate by operating flow rate adjusting volume of blood pump.
(3) Remove air from dialyzer.
(4) Adjust level in venous drip chamber.
Check that clamp of level adjusting line is closed.
Open cap of the line to connect syringe.
Remove clamp and adjust level in the chamber to desired height by pushing or
pulling syringe plunger.
Close clamp of the line.
(5) After rinsing with suitable volume of saline, turn off [ON/OFF] SW of blood pump to stop
it without flow rate indication.
(6) Check no air in blood line.
(7) Close clamp of venous shunt joint line not to allow discharge of saline.
(8) Turnover dialyzer to direct arterial port (red) upward.
(9) Close rolling clamp of saline vial line and clamp of saline line attached to blood line.
