z Self diagnosis is simple one and all checks are not necessarily be performed.
z Self diagnosis can be performed under specified conditions. If any of the conditions is
not satisfied, the result may be NG.
z Although the result is NG, audible alarm is not actuated. Check indication of NG in test
screen
z The following items are self diagnosed:
• BP（blood pump） : Rotation test
• CLV（clamp） : Clamp ON/OFF operation test
• BD（bubble detector） : Bubble detection test
• VPa（viscous pump A） : Rotation test
• VPb（viscous pump B） : Rotation test
• VP（venous pressure sensor）: Test to check venous pressure = 0±8mmHg
• AP（arterial pressure sensor）: Test to check arterial pressure = 0±8mmHg
18.1.2. Cleaning and disinfection of machine outside
Clean the machine outside based on procedures specified in ”11.1 Cleaning and disinfection
of machine outside.
18.1.3. Disinfection and rinsing of fluid line inside
Disinfect and clean fluid line inside based on procedures specified in “11.3 Disinfection of
fluid line inside 11.3” and “Chapter 14 Rinsing”.
WARNING
z Confirm disinfectant concentrate can be sucked surely and disinfection can be performed
regularly. Take the confirmation once a week. It is possible that third-party infection is
happened due to malfunction of electric valves.
18.1.4. Acetic acid rinsing of fluid lines
Remove calcium deposit from fluid line inside by acid rinsing based on procedures specified
in “11.4 Removal of calcium deposit from fluid line inside” and “Chapter 14 Rinsing”.
