12.2 Description of process flow
By turning on power SW, rise screen is displayed followed by shifting to process executed
before turning off the SW previously. Then, each process is followed by relevant SW operation.
12.2.1 Rinse wait process
By turning off [DIALYSIS] SW, “rinse wait” process is followed and fluid line function is
disabled. In the process, it is possible to select and set rinse mode as desired in rinse menu
screen; and to activate “air purge” process.
12.2.2 Rinse process
When “rinse” mode is selected in “rinse wait” process, the process is shifted to “rinse”
process by pressing [RINSE] SW.
In the process, “water rinse”, “disinfection/rinse”, “acid rinse”, “dwelling” or “prerinse”
mode can be selected and executed as desired.
Addition of hot rinse option provide Hot water rinse and Hot chemical disinfectant rinse.
12.2.2.1 Water rinse mode
In the mode, each of fluid lines is water rinsed and leak from closed circuit is checked.

z To check leak from closed circuit, positive pressure is applied to the circuit by operating
viscous pump for finding whether fluid is leaked from the circuit. If the leak is detected,
“E36～E43 VC CLOSED CIRCUIT LEAK ERROR" is displayed to alert.
12.2.2.2 Disinfection/rinse mode
In the mode, each of fluid lines is disinfected and rinsed. After rinsing for specified time,
disinfectant concentrate supply line is back flushed.
12.2.2.3 Acid rinse mode
In the mode, each of fluid lines is acid rinsed. After rinsing for specified time, acetic acid
concentrate supply line is back flushed.
12.2.2.4 Dwelling mode
In the mode, fluid lime function is disabled. The mode is used to disinfect each of fluid lines
sufficiently by dwelling disinfectant in it for specified time.
12.2.2.5 Prerinse mode
In the mode, fluid line function is disabled until arrival at preset prerinse start day and time.
By arrival at the day and time, water rinse is started automatically. It is possible to execute
“dwelling” mode before starting “prerinse” mode when “dwelling” mode is selected after
“disinfection/rinse” mode is completed.
