4.7 IPP printing (Windows 2000/XP/Server 2003)
The IPP (Internet Printing Protocol) print service is supported as standard in
Windows 2000, Windows XP, and Windows Server 2003. TCP/IP is used as
the network protocol.
Operations on this machine
Set the IP address for this machine. For the setting procedure, refer to “Set-
ting the IP address for this machine” on page 4-8.
Also, specify the IPP printing settings in Web Connection. (Printing can be
performed with the default settings.)
1 Start up Web Connection.
2 Enter the administrator password, and then click [Log-in].
3 On the Network tab, click “Common Setting”, then “IPP”.
