Head up/down mechanism positions
The carriage moves to a higher position when the mechanism is
set to the left.
(For thick media)
Normally the mechanism is set to the up
position.
(For thin or normal thickness media)
While raising the front of the carriage,
change the position of the left head up/down
mechanism.
TIP
We recommend wearing glove during this operation
to keep your hands clean.
