To change the printer’s basic settings
Turn the warning beep o
Normally, the printer emits a warning beep when an error occurs. However, the warning beep can be turned o for
the three following cases.
- When the print heads are not covered by the caps (during daily maintenance operations, print head
height adjustment, or when a media jam occurs)
- When a media take-up error occurs
- When the ink runs out or ink cartridges are not installed
