Reinforced insulation against mains power supply, all
interfaces and other safety low-voltage circuits.
Protection The 10A IAC/DC current input is fuse-protected (see
below). For measuring currents on high inductances,
the input is protected before the fuse.
This is done by an internal surge arrester with a short
circuit spring that, in case of an overload, applies a
short circuit to the output, and protects the user in case
the fuse is blown, and a current is still forced through
the input with a high voltage.
