Precautions for Safe Use
The following actions are required for safe use of the AMR.
• Review and understand the safety protections associated with your specific application and
environment.
• Make sure that the environment is suitable for safe operation of the AMR.
• Make use of the Fleet Manager when two or more AMRs are used in the same environment
and are not confined to separate workspaces. Refer to the Fleet Operations Workspace Core
User's Manual (Cat. No. I635) for more information.
• Make sure that any person working with or near an AMR is trained and has read and under-
stands this document and the Autonomous Mobile Robot (AMR) MD-series Platform Safety
and Unpacking Guide (Cat. No. I682).
• Mechanically maintain and service AMRs for proper operation of all control and safety func-
tions.
