8.2 Troubleshooting
8.2.1 If the ERROR LED Lights
Condition
The self-diagnostic error occurs.
Procedure 1
Replace the backup battery of the CPU when the BATT. LED is on. (
section 9.1.1)
Procedure 2
Check the error code using the programming tool.
Using programming tool software (FPWIN GR)
In the ONLINE mode, select “Status Display” on the “Online” menu. At the bottom of
the “STATUS DISPLAY” window, you can find the error code.

Condition
There is a syntax error in the program.
Operation 1
Change to PROG. mode and clear the error.
Operation 2
Execute a total−check function using programming tool software (FPWIN GR) to deter-
mine the location of the syntax error.
