110 Chapter 6: Basic TitleDeko Tutorial With Adobe Premiere
Tutorial Introduction
This tutorial will guide you through some basic usage of the plug-in program TitleDeko
with Adobe Premiere
™
. For this tutorial, it is assumed that you have completed all of the
lessons that are found in “Chapter 4: Basic TARGA 3000 Tutorial With Adobe Premiere.”
The TitleDeko tutorial in this chapter consists of the following lessons: “Creating A Basic
Title,” “Enhancing The Text Of a Title,” “Rolling A Title,” and “Creating A Scrollable
Crawl Title.” We recommend that you work through all of the lessons in a single session.
This will take you less than 45 minutes.
About TitleDeko Files
In Premiere, TitleDeko .TDK files are stored on the hard drive. The Premiere .PPJ project
file contains a reference to them, so that you can open the file from within Premiere.
Because the file is stored separately, you can also open and edit the file outside of
Premiere, and the changes will show up in Premiere.
Before You Begin This Tutorial
Turn on all the hardware in your configuration. Make sure that your video output monitor
is connected to the outputs of the Breakout Box connected to the TARGA 3000 card, and
