Transport (Scrub) Controls
The Transport Controls act just as they do in the Picker. These controls allow you to play,
scrub, or step through an effect. They overlay window will show either the proxy graphics
or the actual sources depending on whether the Show Actual Sources icon has been
activated (located under the tree builder).
Note: Due to a limitation in Premiere, it is not possible to see the actual sources when creating a new
effect. You can only view these sources when editing an effect. In order to get around this limitation, you
should enter the editor to create your new effect, click OK to return to Premiere, and then click Edit to
return to the FX Editor. The Show Actual Sources button will now be enabled.
Parameter Pages
When a node is selected in the Effects Tree, the parameter pages for that node are
displayed. These pages provide the means to program each node.
Picker
When you select the master effect, then the Parameter Page will show you the contents of
the effects directory just as if you were in the Picker. This allows you to choose an
alternative effect to edit from within the FX editor interface.
Transform
When you select a Transform node, you will see the following interface in the Parameter
Page.
