Appendix A: TARGA 3000 Effects Guide
Saving Effects
Effects can be saved by right clicking the top node of the tree which provides the ability to
Save or Save As.
Clicking on Save brings up a dialog to provide:
• File Name -- Files should be saved as .pky files and stored in the appropriate subdirectory of
the TARGA 3000 folder in your program files directory.
• Description -- This is a free text area to describe the effect. When an effect is selected in the
Picker, this description is displayed underneath the Transport (Scrub) Controls.
• Stamp -- Clicking on Stamp will grab the currently displayed still frame and save this as the
icon which represents the effect.
