If you select an empty node, you also get the following options:
• New Compositor -- Add a compositor effect at this node.
• New Transform -- Add a transform effect at this node.
• New Graphic Input -- Add a graphic source to the effect at this node.
Note: Since most graphics are in RGB and the compositor is layering in YUV, a color conversion
must take place; therefore, a transform processor is automatically inserted when you add a graphic to a
compositor input.
• New Timeline Input -- Add the video source from the timeline at this node. A new timeline
input defaults to Input A; however, if you are programming a transition, you can also choose
Timeline Input B by right clicking on the timeline input node.
• Insert Effect -- Allows you to nest effects by making the source to the current effect be the
output of an existing effect.
