Pattern Format

Track and Pattern Names
Track and pattern names can be edited and changed to custom text in the
in the Pattern Function. Track name length is maximum 7 characters. The
defaults are Track 1, Track 2, Track 3 etc but can be set to more
appropriate names such as drums, perc, bass etc. Track names can also
be changed in the master, track mixer page.
▌ EDITING PATTERN NAME
1. Press [Pattern] to select the pattern mode page. This consists of 3
menu pages and each is cycled in turn by pressing the [More] option,

2. Ensure the pattern to edit is selected. This can be changed with
[Pattern], 1

Screen button on the rst menu page. The change will
affect the current pattern only.
3. Navigate to menu page 3/3.
4. The option to change the pattern name is presented. Press [Pattern
Name], 1

Screen button to select the alpha-numeric pop-up editor.
5. The Alpha numeric QWERTY keyboard will be displayed and enable the
default ‘Pattern 1’ name to be changed. Edit as per normal using the
QWERTY functions with the pads or navigation arrows and screen
button commands. Auto naming is also an option.
6. Press [Save], 8

Screen button, to conrm and immediately save the
new name for the pattern. Press [Cancel] to exit without saving.
